Blockbuster US shows like Euphoria and Game of Thrones may be at the forefront of your mind when you think of male nudity now, but there was a time when the Brits were far less prudish than “y’all”. In fact, many would argue we still are… and here are some shows to prove it.
Honourable mention: Open House
A pretty terrible, yet addictive reality show where couples enter a mansion of swingers in an attempt to open up their relationship.
10. Industry
The show about London’s financial district and its grinders involves a lot of sex, and drugs. If somebody has sold ‘finance’ to us like that instead of constant numbers on the screen, we might have had a different career trajectory. See its steamiest moments here.

A modern and sex-positive comedy with multiple gay encounters and nudity, Patterns streams on Apple TV… if you can get past the unlikeability of some of the characters.
8. Embarrassing Bodies
Granted, watching men with STDs and other penis problems isn’t exactly horny, but there were some scenes that didn’t involve rashes and bumps; like teaching a rugby squad how to check for testicular cancer.

6. Normal People
Aside from the show’s stellar writing, it’s copious amount of nude scenes featuring Paul Mescal feels like both a fever dream and a wet dream.
5. Footballers Wives
A show that was mostly set in the football team’s locker room and showers? Yeah, count us in. Throw in handbags at dawn amongst the trashy housewives and you’ve got an instant classic.

4. Queer As Folk
Although it only lasted for a mere two seasons, Queer As Folk‘s cultural impact is undeniable. And those two seasons contained more nudity than all of Game of Thrones’. Yeah. Alas, not that full-frontal of Charlie Hunnam that we never got to see.
