Wow, we honestly thought we were done with Drag Race surprises but Christmas really has come early. All Stars 4, which announced it’s full cast last week, was expected to air in January, but it will, instead air just days after the December Christmas special.
Now not only will stans of the show receive a Holi-Slay Christmas Special with 8 familiar queens, but an entire season to tuck their teeth into alongside the seasonal gluttony.
RuPaul had previously said that a the new season was coming “sooner than you might think”, which we had initially thought referred to the Holi-Slay Special, but turns out Mama really has been to WERK.
Just to clarify, this will be the THIRD season of Drag Race to air in 2018.
They also announce the full line-up of judges this season. Some are pretty awesome, and others are… you know, a choice. Casting a judging eye will be: Ciara, Grey’s Anatomy Ellen Pompeo, Olympian Gus Kenworthy, Desperate Housewife Felicity Huffman, Rita Ora, Keiynan Lonsdale, Zoe Kravitz, Jennifer Lewis, Frances Bean Cobain, Susanne Bartsch, Cecily Strong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jason Wu, and Erica Ash.
Add to that the news that RuPaul throws a massive bitch this season, and rumours that Farrah and Valentina are about to pop off, and just the line-up itself would suggest it going to be one hell of a season.
The show will air on VH1 at 8pm on 14th December.
