Colton Underwood continues to plan on monetising the gay life experience by shopping the rights to film his wedding around to TV execs. The problem? Nobody wants it.
“Colton has been pitching a TV wedding for a long time. He was sure that being the first gay Bachelor to get married would start a bidding war between networks and streaming services, but so far no one has said ‘yes’, a witty source told Radar.
We’re not sure how long a “long time” is, considering the TV wannabe has only be engaged for a month.

“His agent set up a meeting with almost every development and programming executive in town. What was interesting is that Colton attended most of those meetings without his fiancé. To say he was optimistic is an understatement, he was 100% positive this was a done deal.”
Pretty optimistic for a guy who faced severe backlash for his coming out ‘documentary’.
It’s also a far cry from what he said to People in December about keeping his relationship quiet for some time.

“I learned the boundaries and healthiness of having a private relationship,” he said. “Everybody went through my breakup [with Cassie Randolph] and the ups and downs of my dating life. It’s nice for me to have something for myself.”
So far Colton has come out on Good Morning America, documented his coming process in Coming Out Colton, sold his engagement photos and story to People, and is now pushing the wedding. I’m sure People would’ve just bought the pictures like they did for Jonathan Bennett.
