Last year it was announced that the UK government would crack down on porn, with sites issuing an ID process to access the goodies.

They also stated that fetish porn, including all forms of BDSM, would be outlawed under the Obscene Publications Act. Along with face-sitting, fisting and female ejaculation.

But when one person’s “obscene” is another person’s ‘tame’, who’s decide what we should and should not be allowed to view in our own homes? Funny how they’re so opposed to bondage, yet want to tie up and gag people’s sexual expression.

But now the government are saying that these rules will be relaxed and bondage and kink porn will be allowed. With the Crown Prosecution Service saying that it’s not for them to “decide what is considered good taste or objectionable.” Darn-tootin’.

Owning or producing ‘obscene’ porn – which includes that sent in private messages on social platforms – can be punishable by prison time. But the CPS has said that porn is unlikely to be considered obscene if it doesn’t cause physical or emotional harm, is not linked with criminality and is not intended for under 18s.

While the news regarding fetish porn is a positive, UK porn browsers will still have to enter credit card details to access any site that is one-third pornographic, and effectively allow their masturbation habits and sexual fantasies to be tracked by the government.
