The new TV show based in San Francisco follows the life of Patrick (Jonathan Groff)- a successful video gamer – and his friends. From this new trailer we can see that the staples of their life include saunas, sex and open-relationships (standard). I think the new show will be like Sex and The City meets Queer as Folk, and it’s been a long time coming.

Airing on January 19th, the new show also stars buff British export Russel Tovey – and we’re wondering if this show will be his launch pad into a better career for an under-rated actor. The trailer doesn’t give too much away but I think if done correctly, could really hit a gap in the market. Do you think Looking will take off? Or will it be another over-hyped show from HBO?
