Fellow Travellers is really delivering week after week. The show follows the dom/sub relationship of Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey during the “Lavender Scare” of the 1950s and has been featuring all the rough sex scenes that kind of relationship would entail.
In fact, special precaution had to be taken with the vintage underwear used in the show so that it wouldn’t be damaged from all the… passion between the actors.

“(Vintage underwear) would never endure that kind of sex, struggling and pulling on and off continually. So we reconstructed them all,” costume designer Joseph La Corte told The Daily Beast.
It was a specific choice to have bottom boy Jonathan Bailey in briefs and dom top Matt Bomer in boxers.
“We looked at all the different styles,” said La Corte. “We wanted to set Tim (Bailey) apart from Hawk (Bomer), and the cheaper brand of underwear at the time would have been a brief.

“A little secret: We had to cheat the t-shirt sleeves for Tim down an extra inch to cover up his bulging biceps, so that (his muscles) weren’t the first thing you noticed when he took off his shirt.”
It isn’t just Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey stripping down for the show either. Jelani Alladin gets his ass and dick out too. Beefcakes all around.
