As we move further into winter, it might mean that you’re out collecting wood to cosy up by a good old log fire. Well, maybe if you’re in Switzerland… Or the 1600s. (Unless you’re lucky enough to have a working traditional fire place).

Despite the fact that you’re unlikely to be chopping wood any time soon, that doesn’t change the fact that its a respected craft – well, maybe not to Greta Thunberg – but that’s mostly just because it feeds into a rugged Brokeback fantasy.

The idea of sourcing our own fire wood doesn’t really appeal to us, but if you get to cosy up to it with a guy like this, that we could do… for a long weekend anyway.
