Harry Styles was one of the male showstoppers at this year’s Met Gala. While we love to a splash of colour at the Superbowl of fashion, Styles’ all-black ensemble didn’t miss a beat when unveiling his ‘Camp’ side. In fact, Gucci decided it would be too obvious for Styles to wear sequins, etc.
Instead, the former-One Directioner wore a sheer ruffled top, with high-waist black pants, accessorized with pastel nails, a pearl earring, and heels. We’d have preferred to see him with a pearl necklace, but that’s just us.
It would have also escalated the androgyny if we could see more of the heel. But it was great to see some of the celebrities who weren’t gay really go for it; unlike Kanye, Travis Scott and Liam Hemsworth.
Back in 2018, Styles said he “never felt the need” to label himself, while lyrics in his song Medicine, hint heavily that he’s been with both men and women.
