Well, dang, ain’t it just about time we had a new gay venue open in London? For real, our nightlife needs to get its shit together. And one bar manager plans to do just that. Alan Winter, manger of Circa, revealed that the brand will be opening its very club just a short stumble from long-running Heaven.

Every time we go to Circa we always end up complaining about how busy it is/small the venue is, so we’re sure the new 750-capacity venue will change that. Located on Embankment, Circa will overtake Hungerford House.

After over a decade on running LGBT venues and seven just at Circa, Winter said: “After witnessing [the scene’s] slow decline I am very proud and excited that Circa is here to say that the London LGBTQ+ scene is far from over!

‘We look forward to giving our community a sparkling new space that’s safe, stylish and most importantly fun!”

The venue is set to open in spring, initially just on weekends, with weeknight events to follow.
