Channel 4’s bold reality show strands 12 adult virgins on a Mediterranean island, pairing them with sex therapists and “surrogate partners” to tackle intimacy issues—sometimes fully nude. We, personally, can’t imagine the nation seeing our bits before our first sexual partner, but each to their own…

Needless to say, a “show and tell” chastity-liberation event leaves viewers wide‑eyed.

The show has received mixed results, from applauding its emotional honesty, to branding the show ethically questionable at best. That is in part, due to the fact that the therapists not only engage in physical touch with the virgins, but are also willing to have full penetrative sex.

Then again… look at the therapist. Maybe we need some virgin therapy too…

And yes, some people online have called it a cult! But it’s also oddly touching: raw shame turned bravery, awkward jokes, and personal breakthroughs. A modern therapy‑meets‑sensuality experiment meant to desensitize the stigma of late‑blooming.

Totally batshit? Absolutely. Worth a watch? Claro!
