The Daily Beast writes: “Sebastian premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it steamed up the snow banks in Park City with its frank, unapologetic depiction of sex work, the sheer volume of its sex scenes, and the provocative, somewhat revolutionary perspective through which those sequences unfold.”
Unlike many films that feature gay sex from independent filmmakers, Sebastian has been met with overall positive reviews, and suggestions that this will be Ruaridh Mollica’s breakthrough performance.
