An explicit director’s cut version of the indie film Wij (translates to “We” in english) features real unsimulated sex with actor Aimé Claeys.
The Belgium-Dutch film follows a group of eight friends who chase away the boredom of summer by engaging in increasingly more extreme sexual games. Daring each other on and wanting to get some extra cash they decide to shoot some porn. They film each other fucking and sucking in masks and costumes – including fluro wigs and an unfortunate Indian headdress.
The film is told in flashback from court, as their sexual games became violent and one of the eight friends was killed.
Wij came out in 2018 to some rather mixed reviews with the AV Club calling it “awful” while the Rome Independent Film Festival awarded it “Best Film”.
Aimé Claeys now stars in the gritty TV series The Twelve.
