Former gay porn star Austin Wolf, real name Justin Heath Smith, has pleaded guilty to a federal sex crime involving a minor.
Smith, 44, admitted in Manhattan federal court that he enticed a 15-year-old into sexual activity. “I knew it was wrong,” he told Judge Paul Engelmayer, taking responsibility for contacting the teen via social media in late 2023 or early 2024.
Prosecutors said Smith’s conduct didn’t end there. In March 2024, he traded child pornography on Telegram, including videos showing prepubescent children being abused. A federal raid on his Manhattan apartment in April recovered over 200 files of child sexual abuse material on an SD card.
Smith has been held without bail at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest last summer. Prosecutors called him a danger to the community and a flight risk.
Under his plea deal, Smith admitted to one count of enticement of a minor, which carries a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison and could mean life behind bars. In exchange, prosecutors will drop other charges for distribution and possession of child pornography. Sentencing is set for September 9, 2025.
His sudden fall has stunned fans and sparked debate about oversight in adult entertainment. While industry insiders say concerns about Wolf’s preference for youthful-looking co-stars circulated for years but were mostly ignored.
