David Lewis’s 2022 romantic comedy “All Kinds of Love” makes a surprisingly bold statement by throwing heaps of male nudity into the genre.
The film follows Max (Matthew Montgomery), a recently divorced gay man in his forties who finds unexpected romance with Conrad (Cody Duke), a much younger programmer. Set against the backdrop of the 2015 Supreme Court marriage equality ruling, it’s a familiar rom-com setup with an unfamiliar level of explicit content.

What distinguishes the (no shade) low-budget production is its uncompromising approach to male frontal nudity (and not prosthetics). Multiple reviews specifically note the film’s extensive depiction, with one Letterboxd reviewer commenting on “the many penises it depicts” and another praising “the naturalness with which the nudity is handled.”

Critics consistently mention the “surprisingly explicit sexual content” for a film of this nature, with one reviewer cautioning “sensitive viewers” about the extensive sexual material. Oh honey, trust us, we’re not sensitive in the slightest…
