Actors Matt Bomer and Bradley Cooper are set to play love interests in Maestro, a biopic of renowned composer Leonard Bernstein, according to Deadline.
If, like us, you don’t know shit about classical music, Bernstein is considered of the most respected composers having won a number of awards for the work he composed.
Cooper will play Bernstein with Bomer set to play his lover Tom Cothran if a deal is reached.
It was noted by friends that Bernstein was gay, despite trying to hide his sexuality by marrying Felicia Montealegre (played by Carey Mulligan), before later leaving her for Cothran.
The film will be directed by two powerhouses Steven Speilberg and Martin Scorsesse.
