Despite saying that she might never perform again, Britney Spears, it seems, is feeling musically inspired again.

Spears posted a clip of herself singing to Instagram, writing “Psss new song in the works… I’m gonna let you know what I mean”. In the video, she sings, “I want you to know just what I…”

And in the now-deleted caption, Spears once again took aim at her family.

“I just realized this today guys … after what my family tried to do to me three years ago … I needed to be my own cheerleader !!!! God knows they weren’t …”

The pop star then reeled off a number of accolades, before stating that she was “reminding myself and the world of who I am”.

Signing off, she remarked, “Yes … I will be my own cheerleader … why ???? I’m here to remind my white “classy” family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me nor will I ever forget !!!!⁣”

Although Spears ultimately deleted her caption, someone captured it and posted it to Twitter.

Spears also recently came for Diane Sawyer in a post over their interview back in 2003, and then deleted it.
