Seriously – we’re going to need a whole bunch of wet floor signs. For our living rooms.
As revealed by The Hollywood Reporter – although, quite frankly, this really does seem like one you’d come to Cocktails & Cocktalk with first – Channing Tatum is making his film Magic Magic a wet dream reality. With a new show called The Real Magic Mike set to air later this year on US streaming service HBO Max.
Tatum – who not only starred in both Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL, but conceived and directed the global stage show… oh, and used to be a fucking hot ass stripper himself – and Steven Soderbergh (Magic Mike, Ocean’s trilogy and franchise and Contagion) have both signed on to executive produce the “unscripted series”.
We don’t know a huge amount re what Channing plans to bare (I mean, we obviously have a fair few requests) on his new reality feast, but considering the original movie sparked a sequel and a successful live stage show in both London and Las Vegas, we’re feeling somewhat confident in the Hollywood hunk.

What we do know is that new venture sounds like a sexy mix between RuPaul’s Drag Race, Queer Eye and Drag SOS. Just bring to a boil and add a dash of baby oil and a generous helping of one dollar bills.
This has the potential to crack RuPaul’s face, people.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the competition will be made up of ten hunks who have “lost their magic”. The dashing dolls will be put through various Magic-Mike-related challenges for cash prizes and a chance to show off their magic tricks in a Magic Mike live show.
The official show synopsis states:
“[They] will bare their souls and more as they evolve their bodies, learn to perform spectacular routines, and develop a new level of self-confidence. As they strip off their clothes, they will rid themselves of emotional baggage and regain their mojo, but only one will be the Real Magic Mike.”

We’re excited to work with Channing, Steven and the team behind Magic Mike Live to continue this successful franchise that celebrates self-confidence and sexiness both inside and out.”

So, here are the judges we want to see, Channing: You, Steven Soderbergh (but in a Jeffrey Marran ABSOLUT Vodka: Cocktails Perfected kind of way), Amanda LePore, Joe Manganiello and Cardi B.
Oh, and get the Cock Destroyers to host, yeah?
