Bad news for size queens!
If you thought our bipolar weather was a drastic result of global warming, then you better hold onto your dick.
According to leading epidemiologist and environmental scientist Dr Shanna Swan, penises around the world are shrinking, and pollution is to blame.
Shanna outline, How Our Modern World Is Threatening Sperm Counts, Altering Male and Female Reproductive Development, and Imperilling the Future of the Human Race, in her new book Count Down.
The chemicals that large companies are using to manufacture plastic are having an impact on hormonal balance and in-turn penis size. And while its predominantly found in plastics, the chemical can also be found in cosmetics, toys, food and, pharmaceuticals.
“Chemicals in our environment and unhealthy lifestyle practices in our modern world are disrupting our hormonal balance, causing various degrees of reproductive havoc,” she writes, referring to the decrease in testosterone.
Shanna tested the theory by exposing rats to phthalate – the disruptive chemical – and noted how their rat babies were born with smaller genitals. It reportedly has the same effect on human babies too.
Its impact extends to sperm count too, with Shanna warning that if sperm count continues to decrease as it is, humanity will hit a count of zero by the year 2045.
