While most people would love to be on a footballer’s wage, Italian soccer star Davide Iovinella had a far greater calling than kicking a ball around a pitch: having sex on camera!
However, it was Iovinella’s wage that was the problem. Iovinella – a footballer for Serie D side ASD Caldio Pomigliano -realised he could make more money in the adult film industry, according to a resurfaced story from 2018.
And so he applied for a role in an adult movie, and, after a successful audition, was selected to work with director Rocco Siffredi. At Siffredi’s Academy, in Budapest, he took on the stage alter-ego of Davide Montana.
We’re curious as to what exactly happens at a sex academy?
“It’s not like being in bed with your partner, so you have to work hard and be stable,” Iovinella said of his new career, according to The Sun in April 2018.
Although strangely announced his “retirement” from porn (which he’d allegedly been shooting from a year or so before), on Instagram the month before that. (We’re guessing he planned to quit porn, and then sold the story/angle to the tabloids and got a hoard of new interest).
Iovinella certainly isn’t the first person to foray into the world of sex for pleasure and profit; just recently reality TV person Bruno Duarte recorded an intimate porn flick for Colt Studios, and back in 2017, a former-FOX anchorman also began making adult films.
