Ballroom drama Pose is set to keep on voguing after being renewed for a third season with only the first episode of the second having aired.

FX has confirmed that the Ryan Murphy-penned series that centres around the LGBT culture of the NYC ballroom scene will return for a third. Already a huge hit with fans and queer audiences, Pose is hotly tipped for award season too; and in our opinion, should be rewarded for telling the stories of a generation that aren’t widely discussed.

The start of season 3 got off to an emotional start as Bianca was told that her HIV had developed into full-blown AIDS, and prepared to take a new medication to help keep it at bay. While Prey Tell began his venture into activism (not unlike Billy Porter himself) to Stand Up against homophobic propaganda perpetuated by the Catholic church.

The show features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles ever, including Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, and Indya Moore.
