Eagle-eyed viewers were left with a potentially NSFW surprise this weekend when ITV seemed to air footage of Simon Cowell’s giblets making an appearance. They’ve some right dickheads as the guest judges in previous years, but this is another level. Although, what initially seemed to be Cowell showing brain through an open fly, was actually just his toe peering out of his jeans. Viewers took to Twitter in their droves to passionately discuss #Toegate.

Simon since spoke out on the Xtra Factor saying: “It was just my toe. It was quite embarrassing when I saw it online but it was just my toe. I have a very large toe.”

We might not have him as our screensaver – but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t curious…
